Opened in 1984, the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX will undergo a much anticipated $575,655,000 construction program designed to make traveling through this international gateway safer, faster and more comfortable. Construction will include major interior renovations, a boarding gate for new large aircraft, and an in-line, checked-baggage security screening facility. The largest single component of the project is the addition of approximately 45,000 square feet of space to the terminal to house a new in-line checked baggage security screening facility.
